Another day, another truth bomb...

Right after posting my previous rant about Geo's extreme truthfulness we went into Paris for the afternoon.

On our way home, we got on the bus. Since it's the terminus of the line, we often have to wait a bit in the bus before the driver finishes his cigarette and we can go. So we're sitting in the increasingly-full, almost totally silent bus when Geo starts giggling and pointing. "Mama, look at that man, he looks like a GORILLA, hahahahahaha!!!!" I die of shame a little.

Me: "Geo, remember what we said? It hurts people's feelings when you point at them and laugh. You wouldn't like it if someone did it to you, would you?"

Geo: Sulk. Mumph.

Me:"If you want to say something, whisper it to Mama or Baba. But don't point."

Geo: Pout. Sulk.

I guess this is like everything else when dealing with children. You have to repeat the same thing 1,000,000 times before it begins to make a dent.
